Nicholas TielemansPhysiotherapy is concerned with treatment and prevention of movement disorders. At this clinic the emphasis is on neuro-musculoskeletal conditions (nerves,muscles,bones). Conditions are treated using conventional treatment methods including; interferential current , tens, ultrasound, soft tissue techniques and exercise instruction. In addition acupuncture can be utilized as a standalone treatment or combined with other modalities.

Nicholas is a Masters Graduate, with a degree from the University of Manitoba’s Physical Therapy Program. It is at the University where he subsequently obtained his Bachelor of Science, in Physical Education.
Nicholas believes in combining athletic rehabilitation through hands on therapy and exercise. He focuses on this combination to encourage quick recovery for his patients, so they may regain their previous strength and capabilities allowing them to return to their daily routine promptly. His athletic training background, in both soccer and track, allows him to have an increased knowledge and understanding of exercises available. This knowledge allows him to create a realistic exercise program, which focuses on his patients personal capabilities, and his own ability to adapt exercises as needed. He aims to not only help people heal their physical injuries, but also strengthen the body to help prevent future injuries. Nicholas has a passion to assist and will do everything he can to help people heal regardless of anyone’s age, gender, ethnicity, and physical conditions. |
